I decided to make some changes in the format of this journal without waiting for the next monthly cycle to begin. The date above is written in Bosnian. I'm also including the Sabian symbols for the astrological degree positions of the Sun and Moon, from Dane Rudhyar's The Astrological Mandala.

The degree positions of the planets are typically read from 0 to 29 for each sign, while the Sabian symbols are numbered from 1 to 30. It is necessary to add 1 to the degree position in order to associate it with the correct Sabian symbol.

Sun at 19 Aries: A young girl feeding birds in winter (Sabian symbol for 20 Aries)

Moon at 16 Sagittarius: An Easter sunrise service draws a large crowd (Sabian symbol for 17 Sagittarius)

This morning the Moon entered my 4th house. This afternoon it will transit my natal Moon.

A little later on this morning the Moon will enter its 21st mansion, The Earth, whose letter is ص and whose Divine Name is The Death-Giver, الْمُمِيتُ.

I'm actually feeling pretty good at the moment. I spent time in my undergraduate class yesterday reinforcing the information that they ought to have applied to the homework assignment they were getting back (if they had submitted anything at all). There will be a quiz on Friday. It should be interesting to see what happens with that, particularly if people who have been absent decide to show up to class just because a quiz is scheduled. I felt a bit more focused in my graduate class than I had recently.

When I came home I found time to work some more on a computer project and to practice the piano. Today I plan to work at home. I will need to exercise, as my body feels like it really needs it, and I may see about getting a haircut.
