Planet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Sun

Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Idris (Enoch)

Lunar phase: Full Moon - Fulfillment (Phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)

The Sun is in 6 Aries (in my 7th house): A man succeeds in expressing himself simultaneously in two realms. (Symbol for 7 Aries from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)

In the late morning, the Moon will enter its Disseminating phase, whose keyword is Demonstration. At the start of this phase, the Moon will be in Scorpio (in my 3rd house) and the Sun will be in Aries (in my 7th house). In the afternoon, Mercury will enter my 8th house. About 25 minutes before akšam (magrib), the Moon will transit my natal Venus (in my 3rd house).

[I am writing this ahead of time, to be posted automatically in the evening, since I will be driving home after the final concert of the conference.]

Addendum (Sunday morning):

The drive home went smoothly. I made the right decision to stay for the final concert of the conference and to drive home afterward.

Since I was an attendee but did not present, I was able to remain detached throughout the conference. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised that it was so easy for me to have somewhat meaningful conversations with a number of people. This leads me to consider once again that the circumstances in my department are difficult and bring me down, but my personality has not been entirely destroyed as a result. I spoke with a couple of people who have left secure positions within state universities in favor of contingent employment elsewhere because of cuts in funding for education in the states where they formerly worked, which resulting in a deteriorating cultural climate. Plan A for me is still to try to stay at my university until retirement (Inshallah), but it is also good to know that intelligent, capable people can and do make major adjustments to their lives and seem to maintain an enthusiasm for their work anyway.
