Planet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Saturn

Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Abraham

The Sun is still in 13 Leo (in my 11th house): A human soul seeking opportunities for outward manifestation. (Symbol for 14 Leo from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)

The Moon is at 21Vir30 (in my 1st house). Lunar mansion (according to Ibn 'Arabi): 14, The Fourth Sky, which is the Heart of the World, Sky of Sun and House of Enoch, letter Nūn, The Light (An-Nūr)

Lunar phase: New Moon - Emergence (Phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)

Shortly after noon, the Moon will enter its Crescent phase, whose key word is Expansion. (The Moon will be at 29Vir36 in my 1st house and the Sun will be at 14Leo36 in my 11th house.) About 45 minutes after that, the Moon will enter Libra (in my 1st house).

Went to džuma this past day. The regular (Bosnian) imam was back. I couldn't tell for sure (because of my limited grasp of the language), but it sounded as if he may have gone to Bosnia after Ramadan. That would make sense, as the Srebrenica massacre is commemorated in July.

I received a CD in the mail from the manager (and one of the members) of Hor Hazreti Hamza. It is a very traditional recording of Ilahis. Fortunately, the lyrics are printed in full in the CD booklet so I can study them when I have a chance. There are also references to a few Sufi teachers at the end of booklet. I don't know if the members of the group are in a single tariqat, and if they are giving some information about its history, or if the shaykhs that are mentioned are authors of the Ilahis. Again, once I spend more time with the texts in the booklet, this should become clearer. I sent the manager a note of thanks on FB in Bosnian. He replied in English, but complemented me on my Bosnian. (If only everyday conversation in Bosnian were such a simple matter.)

Work continues, at a slow pace.

Peace,

KH
