Moon phase: New Moon - emergence
The Sun is in 27 Gemini: Through bankruptcy, society gives to the overburdened individual the opportunity to begin again (Sabian symbol for 28 Gemini).
The Moon is in its 10th mansion, which extends from 25 Cancer 42 to 8 Leo 34. This is the third mansion within the second seven-fold cycle of the 28 mansions.
In Ibn 'Arabi's listing, the 10th mansion signifies The Sphere of Stations, Sky of Fixed Stars, Sun of Paradise and Roof of Hell, whose letter is ش and whose Divine Name is The Powerful, .الْمُقْتَدِرُ
In the traditional Arabic system, the 10th mansion is known as Al-Jabhah, The Brow. Its keywords are power, success, aid, healing, recovery, improvement, help, increasing strength. Its image is that of the head of a lion. The angel of this mansion is Ardesiel.
Overnight, the Moon will enter Leo (in my 11th house). In the morning, it will transit my natal North Node (also in my 11th house).
It was a reasonably successful first day of Ramadan. I had considered staying up when I got up to feed the cat, but I hadn't slept that well so I opted to get some rest and get up with my husband. Consequently, I got a later start on the fast that I had planned to do, but I still managed to fast for 13 hours.
I took a couple of short naps during the day. During the second one, I seemed to have trouble falling asleep. Then, suddenly, I found myself having a vision of a young man--possibly an adolescent--with dark hair in somewhat of a bowl haircut. He was standing in the doorway of what appeared to be a room or a closet, so that the doorframe made sort of a niche around him. His head was tilted to one side. He looked to be at least part native, probably of Central or South America. In his pose, and framed by the doorway a he was, he exhibited almost the playfulness of Krishna. The vision was so vivid and so unexpected that it awoke me with a start. My heart raced for a while, and then I calmed down and eventually got up.
