Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Jesus
The Sun is in 15 Cancer (in my 10th house): A king announces an oppressive new law. His jester, in cap and bells, satirizes the law with an obscene limerick, and is promptly led off to the dungeon. (Symbol for 16 Cancer from Martin Goldsmith, The Zodiac by Degrees, 2nd ed.)
The Moon is in the 1st decan of Aries (in my 7th house): intellectual discovery; spark of genius. (Keywords from Martin Goldsmith, Moon Phases: A Symbolic Key)
The Sun and Moon are currently in their 20th phase (the Moon is 110 to 100 degrees behind the Sun): The Forgiven Heart. Image: A young woman stands on a cliff by the sea; she carelessly drops a flower over the side of the cliff. Behind her a black dog rummages through a pile of garbage. (Symbols from Goldsmith, Moon Phases)
In the morning, the Moon will enter my 8th house. In the afternoon, Mercury will enter Cancer (in my 10th house).
There were times during the past day when I felt somewhat unfocused. That sort of thing is going to happen from time to time. This is, in part, why I am making it a point to hang out by myself at home most of the time during Ramadan. Nonetheless, I got a few things done and am formulating plans to move forward on some of my projects.
