Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Abraham
Lunar phase: Last Quarter - Re-orientation (Phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)
The Sun is in 15 Leo (in my 11th house): A handsome, smiling man walks through the park with a lion on a leash. The beast growls menacingly, whereupon he jerks the leash and brings the animal under control. (Symbol for 16 Leo from Martin Goldsmith, The Zodiac by Degrees, 2nd ed.) The storm ended, all nature rejoices in brilliant sunshine. (Symbol for 16 Leo from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)
Overnight, the Moon will enter Gemini (in my 9th house). About a half hour before Maghrib (Akšam), Mars will enter Leo (in my 11th house).
Thankfully, not so much cleaning today. After I returned from New York, I found a more efficient way to work with some of the data I'm preparing for my sabbatical project. (Yes, I really am laying the groundwork for my sabbatical in the spring semester now.) Worked with that and practiced. I finished reading Rudhyar's The Planetarization of Consciousness while I was in New York, and started his next book, We Can Begin Again Together, while I was still there. I'm also reading Jeff Green's Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul (vol. 1), which is a classic from the mid-80s, and am slowly reviewing Lex Hixon's Mother of the Universe.
It seems that this summer has been, in part, about restoring a sense of confidence in things that I value, given that I get so little support or positive feedback from my environment.
