The past day was spent mostly at home, working. I went out to take care of a couple of errands. I had become concerned that our refrigerator was no longer maintaining an optimal temperature. I picked up a refrigerator thermometer at the hardware store this morning (where Glen Campbell's "Galveston" was playing on the sound system). As I suspected, the refrigerator temperature is too high. It seems that a new fridge is in order. We have been here for 13 years, and we don't know how old the fridge was when moved in.
