Četvrtak 22 Džumade-l-uhra 1437

Planet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Jupiter

Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Moses

Lunar phase: Disseminating - Demonstration (Phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)

The Sun is in 10 Aries (in my 7th house): The ruler of a nation. (Symbol for 11 Aries from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)

In the late morning, the Moon will enter its Last Quarter phase, whose keyword is Re-orientation. At the inception of this phase, the Moon will be in Capricorn in my 4th house and the Sun will be in Aries in my 7th house. About 40 minutes before akšam (magrib), the Sun will enter my 8th house.

Last night I had a dream in which I was talking to the current lover of one of my exes, with whom I remained a close friend for several years. The essence of the conversation with this ex's current lover was that my ex was becoming less available to me, and that I shouldn't expect to place many demands on him as a friend. When I woke up, I was experiencing a feeling of loss. As I reflected on the dream and the feeling that it brought up, it seemed to me that my 20s had been the period of my life with the strongest feelings and with the greatest sense of spontaneity and discovery. The succeeding decades seemed, in comparison, to be attempts to recreate aspects of my experiences in my 20s, but always fell short somehow.

Yesterday, before having this dream, I had noticed one of my astrology books on the shelf and wondered briefly if I might return to it in the relatively near future. After the dream, it occurred to me that this is a book that plots out one's life course in terms of decades, each of which is ruled by a particular planet, the order of the planetary cycles (and subcycles) determined by the configuration of planets at one's birth. I returned to the book and my notes on it today and refreshed my memory that my 20s were ruled by Neptune and my 40s (the second most turbulent period of my life) by the Moon. I also discovered that the current decade is ruled by Saturn and that I am now in a Saturn-Neptune subcycle. These three planets have been of particular intuitive interest to me within the last year, so it may be useful to look into them from the perspective of this book.
