Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Moses
The Sun is in 9 Virgo (in my 12th house): Two heads looking out and beyond the shadows. (Symbol for 10 Virgo from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)
The Moon is at 5Vir14 (in my 12th house). Lunar mansion (according to Ibn 'Arabi): 13, The Third Sky, Sky of Mars and House of Aaron, letter Lām, The Victorious (Al-Qahhār)
Lunar phase: Balsamic - Release (Phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)
About an hour and 15 minutes ago, the Moon transited my natal Uranus (in my 12th house). About 10 minutes after zora (fedžr), the Moon will enter its New Moon phase, whose keyword is Emergence. (The Moon and Sun will be at 9Vir21. This will be an eclipse New Moon.) Later in the morning, the Moon will transit my natal Pluto (in my 12th house).
Was on campus this past day. My sense of timing in the classroom seems off. My computer had a few catastrophic crashes during my first two classes. I had to improvise alternative activities. There was a faculty meeting. Walking there really brought me down. I had my computer do a system restore during the faculty meeting. It seems to be behaving normally now.
In order to challenge the snowballing perception of failure in my life, I am trying to think in terms of mini-interventions. When I came home from campus (at nearly 4 p.m.), I stayed away from the computer and instead prepared myself to do some exercise in the basement (which I did). Then I prayed ikindija ('asr) and meditated. After that I put dinner in the oven and came back to my study to read some Qur'an before my husband got home. I find that even doing this LJ entry is helping me to feel a little bit better.
Still some work ahead of me this evening, but I will try to pace myself.
