Teaching, then home for more grading and for some work on my conference proposal.
As I was thinking further about missed opportunities for healing perspectives, particularly in therapy, it felt necessary for me to acknowledge the possible effects of the unprecedented experience (in my lifetime anyway) of being aware of 15 years of continuous, unjustifiable wars.
Another thing I noticed in the last day or so is that, since I have increased the amount of chanting (zikr, salawat, wird) that I have been doing recently, I have become aware of increased emotional and psychological sensitivity. On the positive side, it is good to feel more "full" and "whole" and less constricted that I remember having felt recently. On the other hand, there are some moments when I am aware energy is moving and may have a tendency to "flip" into anxiety, as sometimes used to happen when I was involved in the Amma org, or when I was in therapy. I guess it's all a part of giving energies more space in which to move, come what may.
