Prophet of the day (according to Ibn 'Arabi): Jesus
The Sun is in 28 Sagittarius (in my 4th house): A fat boy mowing the lawn of his house on an elegant suburban street. (Symbol for 29 Sagittarius from Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)
The Moon is at 23Cap05 (in my 5th house). Lunar mansion (according to Ibn 'Arabi): 23, The Vegetables, letter Thā, The Nourisher (Ar-Razzāq)
Lunar phase: New Moon - Emergence (phase names and keywords from Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle)
Since I have been away from writing for a few days, I will review some of the astrological events that have transpired since I last wrote. The New Moon in Saggitarius (in my 4th house) arrived at 1:30 a.m. on December 18 (29 Rebiu-l-evvel). The Moon entered Capricorn (in my 4th house) later that morning. A few hours after that, Mercury entered my 4th house. At about 15 minutes after midnight on December 19 (1 Rebiu-l-ahir), transiting Neptune (in my 6th house) opposed my natal Pluto (in my 12th house). Last night (2 Rebiu-l-ahir), the Moon entered my 5th house. About an hour after that, Saturn entered its home sign of Capricorn (in my natal 4th house, 1st house of my solar return chart). This is not necessarily the friendliest of astrological "weather," but it does resonate with the theme of settling of accounts with respect to my work and of stocktaking with respect to the past semester and to where I go from here.
I find that I have alternately been feeling depressed and angry over the past couple of days. This is perhaps not surprising, as I have felt under a lot of pressure this semester to be "on" and (as usual) to prioritize the needs (or perceived needs) of others over my own.
