Basically, I'm not interested in reaching out socially in attempts to enhance my spiritual life. My previous attempts to do so have left me feeling disappointed and, in some case, humiliated as well. After the extremes and excitement of a few years ago, I'm feeling burned out and I'm feeling a need to regenerate slowly. Maybe that's just okay.
So, it occurred to me that Chiron, the asteroid/planetoid/centaur representing the Wounded Healer is transiting my natal Jupiter (planet of expansion and spiritual philosophies) in my 6th house (of illness, service, and day-to-day work). The thing is that, when things opened up for me spiritually about 8-9 years ago, Uranus (planet of disruptive change) was transiting my natal Jupiter. Then it transited my natal Chiron (which is very close to natal Jupiter in the 6th house), and then went back again over both natal planets. That's when I had extreme ups and downs involving former friend X.
So what's in store for the next 4 years or so is that transiting Chiron and Neptune will both pass over my natal Jupiter and Chiron. This will include the Chiron return, which occurs at around age 50. Neptune is a very nebulous and somewhat passive planet. Its energy is quite familiar to me because it is the closest natal planet to my natal Sun. My natal Jupiter is in Pisces, which is the sign of its rulership, and most modern astrologers say that Neptune co-rules Pisces. After the excitement and drama of a few years ago, I feel pretty mellow so far about whatever healing/wounding process may be getting underway.
